The Dandy Warhols – Every Day Should Be A Holiday
Surprised I am that this classic from the Dandy Warhols has never graced these pages. But the timing, despite it tardy arrive, couldn’t have been better given the upcoming festivities. Hard to believe that ‘Every Day Should Be A Holiday’ is 15 years old but time hasn’t dimmed its swashbuckling demeanour. And this from a band that were still an album away from creating their best work in ‘Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia’. They’ve since wilted despite picking up lots of attention via the ‘Dig!’ documentary. A singles band no doubt, but one capable of the memorable. KD
