There is a lot to be digested (or ingested perhaps), some 90’s here, 80’s there but the main thing that you’ll cop is that this Atlanta duo have sprinkled quality everywhere – it is in effect decadeless. There will be Tama Impala/Django Django comparisons because of the psych quotient that creates a swirling ambience. ‘Black Tree’ swoops, soars, retreats and advances in a beautifully scattered way but that just adds to that just of reach brilliance.
