A neat shuffle and a voice that sounds like it has just come out of a 20-hour bout of crying/laughing. It is a hypnotic brew, affecting and so soft to fit every facet of the emotional lifecycle. And those dynamics just continue to ride into the sunset with a glorious brass section. Persuasive stuff from the London man, who like many of the rest of us, has had his eyes and ears opened by the wonderful experience of becoming a parent. KH
