Such a feel for Gilbert O’Sullivan, an Irish act from the 70’s with a gift for turns of melody that you couldn’t shake for days. There is also a little Alfie going on here, another set of hushed musicians that sweetened our moods for a number of years. Easy on the ear then from New York’s Alex Frenkel who basically does it all himself and ends up with sweet as pie harmonies and a perfectly pristine arrangement. Breath in the freshness. KH
