This is fookin’ great, from a quintet from Cincinnati and not Manchester. Reminds me what the Fall used to do but with a little more ear candy for good measure. It is ramshackle in that charming Pogues type of manner too, built with the spirit of punk but undeniably with a quotient more positivity. Enough to make you smile, even draw some tears and it is the reason why the endless trawl for new (old) music is such worthwhile endeavour. KH
