Well what sort of oasis of hazy is this, the kind that would make Sunday afternoon’s feel the way they should – all languid but with an imperious aroma. Yep, Gal De Paz’s vocals may move at a glacial pace but this Tel-Aviv act know exactly what it takes to makes us tick, so they move this way and that and cajole us with more soul than a dozen of their contemporaries. ‘Old Bag of Sand’ feels so effortless, but that is because the Paz were just made to make a wow sound.
