Christmas needs at least one new fab tune each year to keep the old ones on their toes. Last year I fell head over heels for South Ambulance’s wonderfully unseasonal ‘Hanging In A Tie’. This year it looks like San Fran’s Scissors For Lefty’s ‘Christmas Intentions’ is 2006’s most magical festive offering. The tune includes all those SFL’s idiosyncrasies as well as a pert little jangle pudding of noise. A couple of months ago I suggested ‘Ghetto Ways’ for a great Christmas party and now here’s a fully-fledged seasonal companion piece.
