We do tend to fall for a fair scattering of bands from Italy, much more than from the rest of Europe (excluding the obvious ports of call, Ireland, UK, Scandinavia) which appears to be acutely lacking in producing exciting new bands. Off the top of my head we’ve had A Classic Education (several times), Farmer Sea, Thee Piatcions, Six Red Carpets and Canadians from Italia and today we’ll add another in the shape of Napoli’s Redroomdreamers. The thing that ties these acts together is that they all sing in English which could explain why their sound is particularly ear friendly. They’ve looked to the west and come back with ideas that informs their output. ‘The Dog’ is taken from ‘Roosters On The Rubbish’ and is resplendent in lyrical brass turns, besides that there is healthy dash of glockenspiel and a softly lilting vocal.
