Sara Radle certainly has a bit of previous in the music industry as her upcoming album ‘Same Sun Shines’ will be her 5th as a solo artist. Completely slipped my radar, including her appearance with the Rentals for a couple of years. Regardless we’re here now and given the slow marching elegance of new song ‘Last’ looks like we chose our moment wisely. As unhurried as this ensemble is it can’t help to foster goosebumps, the way the music of yore used to. Radle’s harmonies are intricate and precise and are never pushed aside by the heavy percussion breathing down her neck. KD
