They’re entirely new and a proposition that could only have happened in a world defined by the internet. And while that mid-90’s invention may have thrown up many more wonderful things than boy/girl duo Bogan Via they are for us, at this moment in time, something wondrous. Bret Bender spotted Madeleine Miller singing on an online video and such was his lust for her vocal companionship that a meet-up became inevitable. January’s self-titled EP was the start and it has been followed up by this abstract delight that glorifies in the splendid tiki-taka supplied by Bender and Miller. A sublime web of intrigue. KD
