For a band that appears to be named after a Frank Zappa album it might seem entirely remiss of them to not to play on their inspiration. Thankfully this Canadian troupe are not in the mood to issue disappointment, something you’ll gather before the clock on this song strikes the minute mark. For ‘UFO’ is the stuff of warped genius (or warped vinyl depending on your point of view), a zany trawl through a million ideas, a feast at the table of Merlin’s kooky little sibling and most of all a rollicking good time that might even be embellished were you to make like your childhood self and whip a frenzy out of an upturned saucepan or two.
