Who’d have thought that a song produced in 2017 would come equipped with such a beating heart. The downside of course is that the band have employed security at the gates of that particular organ so it may be difficult to get close. Maybe it’s because they’re an online collective collaboratively, maybe not. ‘Figured It Out’ is a genuine grower which means it should stay with you beyond the usual momentary excitement and subsequent abandonment. The indie boy hero vocals are spot on and arrangements that are near orchestral in their grandiose approach all makes for a ravishing listen. Who needs keys then, when the sound from outside the gilded walls is just as fine. KH
