Before you ask Snowball ii is the Simpsons family cat and though it may be contrary to ye olde indie naming convention I think you’ll forgive this LA act their feline indulgence once you’ve bathed in the exuburance they proffer. Slanted and enchanted it most certainly is, so utterly attuned to that 90’s indie aesthetic. Allied to that is an unstoppable vibrancy with the inevitable chord rampage following in the wake of an impressive seasaw vocal delivery. That Kurt Heasley of the Lilys is on backing vocals makes it all the authentic. A contemporary nugget to treasure. KH
