Jerky rock is a term I just made up but it seemed so apt for this piece until that swish and melodic chorus just pulled the rug from under my new genre making machinations. Have to admit that to that point it seemed as if not as much else was going to happen, so the harmony drenched joy that appeared from nowhere was quite the smile inducer. The Brighton based trio released their LP, ‘Dream Soda’, a couple of years back and this single is their first for US label Taste and Tone. Long may their glorious union produce offspring like ‘Dead Dreamers’. KH
