You can see why this has picked up plenty of traction because it takes the template as laid down by the likes of minimalist electro pioneers the Field and Daniel Avery and added equally effervescent vocals. It climbs into your head and has its little wicked way with the part that wishes it could still dance like it’s the weekend. And this is dancey, clever but such is the studied wherewithal it still only requires a little speaker real estate. What an introduction from the DJ who has been in the business for yonks and has chosen his moment well to breakout out of the warehouse. KH
