Ingenious playing and on the edge of disintegration fragile vocals add up to a tune so representative of the kind of music that has everything to push beyond the edge and into mainstream consciousness. Of course the 20-year-old Viennese artist (first name Percy, no obvious surname) behind this construct is being groomed for stardom. And it is easy to see why because this is faultless dreampop, taking the Cocteau Twins/Cranberries template and pushing it to the next level. Gorgeous. KH
