You know ‘Keep Your Eye On The Road’ all sounded so earnest to me, quite charming but the real joy arrived when the female vocals kicked in and the brass emerged from precisely nowhere. Talk about a song blooming unexpectedly and housing the sweetest duet imaginable in the process. This west of Ireland act have conjured a stillness here, an elaborate romantic frisson and a colourful instrumental finale in just around 3 minutes flat. Clever. KH
