Not sure if this was recorded late at night but it gives that impression. ‘Just Look At Me Now’ is almost religious in tone and kept to a minimum save for the low-slung chord/folky voice that may be ripe for making us think/weep at the unfolding drama. But it’s not look-at-me-I-need-a-hug, this feels like a universality for us all to ponder and become a better person for the experience. All adss up to sweet reflection from a singer who channels his inner Danny McNamara (Embrace, big shots from the early part of the century) and not unlike a moment to spirit away until December. KH
