Ryan Rebo – Boogieman

Could well be the opening for an old TV drama, the vocals suggest 80’s in direction, perhaps ‘The Greatest American Hero’, because it feels like a cross between Alan Parsons and Jeff Lynne to me. You know there is drama here and it is housed in a production value that is focused on that cherishable sepia-tinged nostalgia thing. Ryan Rebo does all that and also sees fits to include a chorus that could fill an entire arena such is its catchiness. All topped off by a narrative describing the times when doubt is the only constant in our lives. A fantastic track that encourages us not to give it all up in a moment of madness. KH
