Alpaca Sports just screams INDIE and this Swedish act back up the name with a terrific bolt of old school Belle & Sebastian twee pop. It sounds so nostalgic and I must admit I had been waiting in the long grass for the tune that nails what Andreas Jonsson and co. are all about. ‘Eiffel Tower’s sweetness comes in the giddy boy/girl refrains and a dose of happy go lucky melancholy. And you’ll find a lot more where that came from on ‘From Paris With Love’, the band’s new album which is being released by revered Spanish label Elefant Records. KH
