The slow piano parts are the cushion soft invitation we needed right now, especially when the dose of reality in the vocals became apparent. Brighton’s Dominic Champion exudes a broken soul or at least one who is comfortable with acknowledging that things have gone wrong and need fixing. The symmetry with the Streets ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ is there and that extends to the warm embraces that permeate every second of ‘I Feel Better’. KH
