You can tell it is bigger than most compositions, the way it pulses from the off – somehow syncing with our own grand ambitions in a way only near instrumentals can do. London Ben sure does possess an imagination, there is romance, there is ‘Santa Cruz’ era Fatboy Slim, similarly ‘Goon Gumpas’ Aphex Twin and of course Sabres of Paradise ‘Smokebelch II’. It made me sad and equally happy but most of all it made me hopeful that music in 2019 can instill a change in mood for the positive. Touching. KH
