Bobbie Allen has chosen a great name for musical endeavours, especially one with such a broken-hearted approach that against the odds reveals a twinkle in the eye undiminished in the face of all the slings and arrows. Strikes me as a perfect segue into the colder months after the highs of summer and all from the standpoint of a love that seems characterised by that dreaded fatal flaw. Simple but very effective, even evocative as we match our own brittle romantic side with the characters playing out that age old game of heart to heart.
