That noise and disruption is ideal for catching our attention and then for allowing us to fall into the laps of Toronto’s the Sham Family who sure do know their way around an anthemic indie stomper. Not that they make it too easy for us mind you for singer Kory Ross takes his time to give of his undoubted gusto. Reminds me of early Killers with the afterburners on, a knockabout charm and true to the alt values of making noise in whatever formations the collective preference of the band prefer. Loud, noisy and very sweet. KH
