Salarymen – Rerun

That opening had me thinking ‘I Am The Resurrection’ owing to those naked beats but it is obvious that Sydney’s Salarymen have something entirely different up their dreampop sleeves. And it reminds me of a more percussive led Beach House or perhaps Camera Obscura in their heyday when the sixties are being channeled but to an audience who want to move the conversation on. In short it is a wonder-filled swirl of vocal harmonies (Renee de la Motte), summer breezes and general happy thoughts. Swoon. KH
