Supergloom – Cut The Ties

ot so much gloom here, insofar as ‘Cut The Ties’ has a dreaminess that will fill hearts and with their advice taken on board we can just sit back and admire the chiming chords and cascading harmonies. Supergloom make it all sound so effortless and as such I can hear it going down a quiet storm via a hammock session, a refuge for those who want to think things through but also put the world and all its worries to bed for a few minutes. That being said there is bluster to go with that ambience here, a song with two gears and so we have in essence a full lifecycle of emotions here. For those of a Teenage Fanclub state of mind. KH
