Talel McBriar – Little Hell

Such slow drama, the slide guitar pointing the way to a form of sadness but then something contemplation comes across that way. Probably a bit less so in Talel McBriar’s hands for she manages to evoke an unbridled hope despite the slings and arrows. As she sings we feel a current of air lift us free from the weight of daily life somehow, a friend amid all the fakeness and there’s never enough of that stick so ‘Little Hell’ us most welcome. Faultless stuff. KH
