Humour – Yeah, Mud!

Sure does cut like a knife, that array of chords and it means we’re instantly drawn into the world of Glasgow’s Humour and their debut single for they appear intent on upturning the applecart with their brand of punk riot. The singer had me thinking Niall O’Flaherty of the Sultans of Ping FC but what ‘Yeah, Mud!’ reveals is an act taking things beyond the usual scrawled down rules of that hoary old genre, skirting by the Strokes and Franz Ferdinand while they are at it and giving us a source of joy via a sparkling abundance of noise.
