Yep it was ‘Out of Space’ by the Prodigy of all things at first and that was just the beginning of the madcap antics on ‘My Idea of Fun’. Can see where the Ian Dury comparison has come from and there will be plenty hitting their other half with their rhythm stick after a few minutes in the company of this track. It is positively full of amusement, Lily Allenesque, and capable of doing a Dan Deacon by spiralling off into unknown territory at the blink of an eyelid. We’re peak holiday time and quintessential Londoner Gemma Rogers has captured all the fun and frolics in this piece of party rhapsody. Joyous. KH
