Welcome Strawberry – Harvest Apartments

Sure has a 90’s pedigree, of the kind that could be categorised as My Bloody Valentine but with a curious tone that not only manifests itself in the hive of guitar activity but also in the Mojave 3 like vocal patter. This is how you move the game forward in other words, shoegaze with a nose for new directions and for that we are getting quite excited about Oakland’s Welcome Strawberry. The main impact of course is the flagrant noise which matters not for whom it disturbs but more for whom it inspires to better days. We fall into the latter category so we’ll build a home in its cavernous reverb. KH
