Albarello – Lost in the Woods

I took a sneak peak at this before the full runout and it left me in a good place, excited even because ‘Lost in the Woods’ is a most pleasing of listens that reminds of the bands of yore, 90’s in direction a la the La’s or the Coral with the singing almost hum like and ever so embedded in the soft playing. Not only that but there is a chorus to swoon over, sax movements arriving from exactly nowhere which just adds to the sense of wonder of this most fab of songs from this mysterious Australian duo.
