Bent Neck & The Joints – Vice

First impressions on ‘Vice’ are stellar, the electricity of that opening gambit indicating the bright minds that are at the controls. Sure it has a country bent but one that is sure pushing things forward because the lead fuels his changing intonation via a palette with all the colours under the sun. There is a classic sixties quality at times, a retrobility that makes it feel as if ‘Vice’ has been round the block a few times but is growing with each new listen and ultimately had me in Rogue Wave swells of joy.
