Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band – A Journey to the Place Where We Belong

I do like the way the track seems like it is tripping over itself but is never in danger of falling apart because this Latvian act are too together to let such things happen. They’ve created an instrumental here but it goes beyond mere music without words, the post-rock qualities conveying lively exchanges that express humanity at its most invested in moving the game forward. There such a narrative, a changing of the tempo to a degree that it feels like several tunes in one and as a result ‘A Journey To The Place Where We Belong’ has quite put the wind in my sails this morning.
