Old China – Cardiotek

Now that is a rush of chords to awaken the senses of a morning, the psych vocals just to the heady effect and it reminded me of the baggy dance acts of the 90’s as a result. The crucial test was if it could keep it up for 4 minutes and for me it worked a treat because ‘Cardiotek’ has a line right into our groove seeking veins and once there it is hard to think of life before it. Ok, I am probably overreaching here but Old China have done something I’d have expected from fellow Australians Jagwar Ma and that is very much a good thing. KH
