Rogue Satellites – The Wandering Aisles

There is a haunted house informing this piece but the only shivering that we’re feeling is down to the sheer majesty of how Rogue Satellites are propositioning us. They do so with a retro glamour, slight Sonic Youth but a determined adherence to off-kilter pop/rock structures so that our ears were in effect glued to every strand of ‘The Wandering Aisles’. They sound like are doing this in their sleep but what a vivid dream it proves to be. I was hearing Broadcast and Electrelane and some ‘An Cat Dubh’ by U2 so majesty it is. KH
