Samuel Nicholson – Birthday Suit

There is a ring of countrified Oasis on ‘All The Way Round and Back’, their early movements and the classic b-sides they brought out. More so in that grandiose opening and before we meet a singer who has the personality of a room full drinkers and bards. In other words the flow is illuminating, on the edge of reason but with so much to absorb it feels like we’re getting the whole picture and painted in colours so vibrant you can’t but come away feeling revitalised. He comes from Edinburgh and sings so that we can do the same and late into the night. KH
