Blueburst – Senseless

The kind of affair you’d have expected from the great Grandaddy tracks up in the sky, you know the ones where you feel a tug of emotion and it can’t be easily explained because Blueburst have included that undefinable quality where they understand, god knows how, how we tick. It is all there really, from the playing that is romantic and heartbroken all at once and singer Craig Douglas Miller who has a towering presence but is just a scared kid inside like the rest of us. We live for tunes that can polish away all that hard grown-up exterior and ‘Senseless’ does that to reveal the quivering mess underneath. KH
