Carré Mammouth – Toi Renard Si Beau

Well this is doing things differently, for one it operates at a million miles an hour, for two this singer is able to keep up and even add to the propulsion. Pour trois it all feels like we’ve entered the Arcade Fire realm from their ‘Funeral’ days. So, so much to take in and we had better be fully attentive or risk missing out on the best bits of ‘Toi Renard Si Beau’ because there is a good deal happening on the margins as well as right in front of our noses. In short it is an absolute riot of fun and one that sees us falling for Carré Mammouth because anything else and we’d be faking it. Post punk straight out of Québec for those who don’t have a hankering for punk. KH
