Mount Saint Elias – Goldenrod

There’s a folk in passing quality to ‘Goldenrod’, a stream of consciousness that was always mounting a challenge for our attention because of its road less travelled approach. Like there was something bubbling just underneath and was forever on the edge of all out explosion. Oakland’s Mount Saint Elias make for lovely company as a result and while there is definitely a wandering spirit to what they get up to here it is endlessly interesting. When the top finally blew it felt like we’d been on a journey together and my god I do feel it is one worth taking time and again. KH
