Elsdeer – Skin to Skin

Such a delicate progression, not a million miles from Kate Bush and her folk tumblings from up on the misty moors. So ‘Skin to Skin’ becomes a most intimate listen as a result, plenty of pop flourishes to go with the introspection and a quiet confidence which gives the piece a tender form of theatre. All so minimal but having the maximum effect on the rest of us because Elsdeer know how to zone in on an melodic moment as much as they evoke that all airy ambience. KH
