Family of Light Band – Thumb

Talk about making a big early impression, you’ve got to hand it to this ‘Thumb for getting under our skin through its combination of propulsive instrumental action and psychedelic vocalising on top to have us believing we’ve been spirited back to the golden age of rock. California’s Family of Light Band have the believability down, an authentic behemoth of sound that blocks out all other distraction and makes good with our dedicated time too as we can concentrate on the loud but finely tuned intricacies.
