Suffer Fools – Almost Beautiful

An opening that sure makes for heavy duty percussion, the kind that might have the claustrophobic among us running for cover but ‘Almost Beautiful’ brings with it such a palette as to have sticking around pretty much mandatory. The joys are manifold, the punk vocals from Debbie Debased for one and a very big two in the manner of the instrumental break which feels like we’ve been saddled and sent straight to indie rock heaven. Certainly an awful lot to like and plenty to love, not bad for a piece that blocks out the light and fills the space to capacity all around. KH
