Varamon – Tiger Meat

They are psychedelic drifts to ‘Tiger Meat’ alright and the kind that have a wholesome quality so it becomes the type of track that needs to be taken seriously because it has our wellbeing at the crux of its operation. It comes in various forms, the music at first and then from Fredrik Hultin’s words, a singer who can channel all the care in the world in his tender delivery. Sweden’s Varamon do have a pop consistency but one that has plenty for the rest of us sideline hoggers to grab onto to, not least because there is a deep sense of family built into their DNA and it is what will have us coming back to this track time and again and especially as the season of goodwill approaches.
