Now that is disoriented melted vinyl effects if ever I heard it. So Shuttle immediately get on our good side as a result, offering spacey levitation of the kind that gifts the listener a route out of blandville and a berth among the stars. And there is a groove to ‘One More Job’ too, the bouncing beats fratenising with a singer who is always up for melodic escapism. There is a semblance of wacky for sure but behind it all it is the soul jams that truly fuels this track. KH
