Utah Carol – Sugar Cane

I felt a Christmas song coming on, a woozy variety of the species but how wrong I was because that was just Utah Carol Music teasing us and instead landing us square into a track that is ever so psychedelically folk inclined. The best thing of course is that there is a pretty great harmony in tow, reminded me Mercury Rev back in their peak turn of the century days circa ‘Deserter Songs’. Hints of the Harvest Ministers too so ‘Sugar Cane’ was always going to be able to run slow riot with our affections. KH
