J. Ezra – Hey, Hey, I’m Goin’ Down

My oh my that is some serious jangle embedded into the fabric of this track and it feels like the perfect companion to a singer who is light and easy on the delivery. ‘Hey, Hey, I’m Goin’ Down’ is faintly last century as if San Diego’s J.Ezra might have put this together in the wake of Woodstock and various acts of folly that could have him in a bind or two. In fact there is a ring of Warren Zevon and we’ll certainly have a bit of that classic languid groove for the new year as a result. KH
