Basharan – Orchid

Oh the romance of it all, the playing such that it feels that our inner swoon won’t be long in kicking its action. Psychedelic folk of this kind is most welcome as a result with Basharan offering up something that feels like it is levitating. Ideal fare for home listening but also fpr those big summer festival fields where all the cider drinking needs a psychedelic outlet with ‘Orchid’ proving ideal for daytime trips. Yes, I was quite taken aback by what it had to offer – a touch of Band of Horses but most of all a band who’ve unlocked primal feelings here. KH
