Otis Infrastructure – Static Unlearned

Sure do come across as smoothies this trio from New York. The kind who are never that far from jumping into the wooing process so naturally we felt like we were hearing a collection of sweet nothings thrown in our direction. ‘Static Unlearned’ an unhurried summer quality, Alan Parsonsesque, and with a soft pop allure that could have come from peak 1970’s this really is a romantic listen. Otis Infrastructure sound completely at ease in the soft lighting, melodies drifting by with the charm of a slow ride down a winding river with the sun high in the sky and the good vibes peaking. Undeniably something magical here, comfort music for those who need the romance without any potential for the inevitable messy breakup. KH
