Eric Schaffer – The Mire

Sounds like it has been soaked in psychedelic juices overnight so ‘The Mire’ comes to us all loose and woozy and perhaps a little drunk from the night before. But it will have been worth it for we get to experience a voice so seductive they may well have swallowed the handbook on romantic soul such is the mood lighting created. For something that moves at such a glacial pace it is probably no surprise at how much my own pulse has slowed in time and that generally means that Eric Schaffer and Samantha Coiner have taken control and are making good with our affections.
