Left on Tenth – Afterglow

The setup was such that we were thinking a classic indie sway, chords like Lou Reed but with a more straight ahead melody vocal line to add a sweeter cherry on top. There were times when ‘Afterglow’ nearly went all chamber pop on us, but that was just here and there because for the most part we have a bard who can mix the reality of life with a bright sun-shininess. Sure pulled me in, effortlessly and languid but with a fire-pit glow all the same and that trumpet was the absolute icing. KH
